Day 3:
We decided to take it easy today since tomorrow is NYE (New Years Eve). Lunch at the Mall, a visit to the National Maritime Museum, the Aquarium on Darling Harbor, then back to the mall for screening of "No Country for Old Men" (which, if you're wondering, was dry, violent, and pretty boring...)

Day 2:
Eliott cooked pancakes for breakfast! We then hopped the ferry downtown and hit the Rocks, the oldest part of Sydney. We spent half the day wandering the narrow cobblestone streets, had a long lunch at a 150 year old pub, and checked out the Rocks museum and learned a few things. I always knew Australia was first settled by a bunch of convicts and their keepers. What I didn't know is that the British established the penal colony in 1788 because they recently lost the place they had been sending their convicts for years - America!

Day One:
By plane, train, and cab I finally make it to Eliott's parent's place in Rose Bay. They do indeed have a pool. After showering we head right back out and take the ferry to downtown (10 minute ride) and I get my required "Bridge and Opera House" picture. We do the wander-downtown-going-to-museum-tourist-thing for the day, then take the ferry back home for an awesome Shabbat dinner. Conversation about cars and sleep ensued.
