Started off today eating breakfast and waiting for nick to arrive. I finally got around to taking notes from lonely planet for sydney and figuring out what we ought to do today.

eliot drove us to the ferry which took us to central quay. The ferry was a catamaran which got us downtown in only 15 minutes. We grabbed lunch at a cafe near the water, then headed over to the museum of sydney. It was a pretty good primer on the origins of the city and how it grew.

As it turned out, the "mint" down the street doesn't print money anymore and is now a small art gallery. So now we're sitting in hyde park enjoying a nice summer day.
